"Be quiet Arashi!" Lani growled standing up. "I don't want to hear you speak unless you have something positive to say." She added. Lani started to leave the den and she flicked the cub's ear with her tail. "Stay here and listen to Doku." She told him. "I'm going to get those herbs Doku."

Arashi flinched when the leader touched his ear he tried once again to get up but failed. Arashi had been hiding the herbs under his tongue and know he spit them out. He didnt care if they saw him or not.

Lani turned back once she heard Arashi spit something out. She saw a wad of wet herbs laying infront of him. She walked over to him. "Eat them now." She meowed in a stern tone. And that's all she said. Lani sat down and waited for him to eat them. She flicked her tail to Doku motioning for him to stay silent.
ooc: Lani is the deputy not leader.lol.

Arashi made no move to eat the herbs he just sat there and looked away from the deputys glare. Arashi thought about his father and mother wandering what they were doing...if he died he would be with them again and they'd all be a happy family again.

"Arashi, eat them." She meowed again, still sitting there. "Many cats will come and go but you must remeber your parents are still with you. They are in the trees, they are in the wind, and they are in your heart." She whispered in his ear. She turned to Doku. "Can we have a minute?" She asked, not trying to sound rude. Lani just wanted to talk to the cub alone for a minute.

Doku's paw went half way up again as he sat up. "So you think your a worthless piece of fur do you? Well your parents died protecting your worthless piece of fur and if you die, they died for nothing! Their lives would have meant nothing!" he snapped at the cub. "If your parents thought for one instant that you were worthless and meant nothing to them, do you honestly believe they would have protected you for the expense of their lives?! They gave their lives to protect you, now they watch over you from everywhere, they watch you grow, they are with you through both the good and bad times. They are not physically beside you, but if you spoke with them in your dream, go ahead an ask them if they even cared about dying for their cub to live on, whom of which begs for death!?" his lips drew up in a snarl. He looked over at Lani "Fine" he bobbed his head quickly. "Perhaps you can shake some sense into his thick skull and open his closed eyes for once in his life" he growled and disappeared out of the den to sun himself.

Lani nodded. "I will try." She whispered. She turned back to Arashi. "Now, Doku is right and you know he is." She said, wrapping her tail around her paws. Lani was trying so hard to get Arashi to understand, but he wouldn't listen. She started to think of herself as a failure to him, but kept pushing that thought out of her head. She had to stay strong for the cub. "Arashi, please eat the herbs." She meowed.

My father blamed ME for my mothers death he always told me if my mother wouldnt have had a stupid cub she would have been alive!The only reason he protected me is because i look slightly like my mother HE HATED ME! I dont want to live anymore...." he roared.

Lani was determined to make the cub understand, but since he had yelled at her like that she was deciding if she should yell back, since he had no right to yell at the Deputy of a Clan. Or if she should just let him yell. It was a hard choice and either would have worked, but she decided to do what she did. "I understand that you are hurt both physically and mentally, but that gives you no right to yell at me like that." She meowed sternly and in a rather loud voice. "Now you eat those herbs and I will leave you alone." She added, having so much more to say, but she didn't feel like arguing with a cub right now.

Arashi glared at her "I am not eating the herbs!" he growled. And got up from the nest arashi ran and made it to the edge of the cave before falling and blacking out again.

Lani ran out after him. "Now he's just being stupid." She muttered under her breath. "Doku, he wouldn't eat the herbs. I want him to stay in you den until he is better if that's okay with you." She said, walking over to the cub and picking him up. Lani carried Arashi back to the den.

Doku nodded. "Don't worry, he will." he assured the duputy. His eyes shot back to the cub and he stood up. His fur bristled angrily. "I understand perfectly Arashi. You think your life is soo hard just because your father was such a pathetic creature to blaim somone other than himself. You didn't ask to be born now did you? You didn't want your mother to die did you?" he snapped. He made an irritated sound then started again. "You believe what you want to. You can't blame anyone for your guilt trip other than yourself. You cut yourself down because you belive what a brain-dead feline said. If your father told you to go and kill yourself, would you?" he snarled. "Your so blind with your own selfishness that you fail to see that, Lani for example, doesn't want you to throw your life away. If you do that you would be also wasting your mothers life, and Lani's belief in you." he challenged. Doku wanted to also say If you don't like your life then get out of our Clan! but he wouldn't doubt that the stupid cub would leave. What with the selfishness he just showed and continues to.

Arashi didnt look or speak to the cat he just sat there staring off into space. He ate the herbs angrily and swallowed but refused to look at the medicine cat.
